There are so many skincare and beauty products out there these days that sometimes it can be really overwhelming finding something that works for you. Thankfully I’ve narrowed down my top favorite products that make my nice list this year so you don’t have to. Try some of the beauty products below and avoid the naughty list this year!
- Fenty Beauty-Rihanna’s line just came out this year but it’s already on my nice list. I’m loving the foundation, primer, match stix, and lipgloss. Read my full review on Fenty Beauty here.
- Carli Bybel palette-I love love love Carli Bybel’s eyeshadow and highlighter palette. The colors are gorgeous and you can easily transition them between seasons. The eyeshadows are very blendable and very richly pigmented, a little goes a long way. The highlighters are my favorite as well, to me better than the more expensive ones I’ve bought in the past. Carli’s definitely put a lot of research and energy into making this gem and I hope she doesn’t stop here. To top it off the palette is affordable at less than $25, and currently on sale for $16.87!
- Too faced Born this way foundation– This has been my go to foundation for a few years now. I love how I can build up the coverage and it lasts all day.
- Kat von D tattoo liner– This has been my favorite eyeliner for a while now, it makes creating a sharp cat eye a breeze. It also holds up after a long day, doesn’t break down like other eyeliners. This eyeliner is a little more expensive compared to others (about $20) but to me is worth it because the color is a true black, it lasts all day without smudging, and the product lasts a while too.
- NYX soft matte lip-My favorite lip product because 1) comes in a so many cute colors and 2) I love the formula, very moisturizing, doesn’t make my lips feel chapped like other lip products out there and also the color has pretty good staying power. And this line is also very affordable at about $6-7 per NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. I have tried plenty of more expensive lipsticks upwards of $20-30 but I still end up going back to these!
- Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer-This concealer has been my go to for a few years now. I love how creamy it is and super blendable, perfect for undereye concealer and spot treatments. I use the shade in custard and it has a slight brightening effect for under the eyes.
- Smashbox Contour Kit-This contour kit has the best shade for contouring. It’s easy to blend and looks pretty natural, a good greyish brown color for contouring. This kit also includes a nice bronze shade and a highlight powder for setting under the eyes and forehead.
- Cetaphil Daily Face Lotion-I’ve been using this lotion for a while now and my skin has been thanking me. I like to use this in the morning right after getting out of the shower and before I put my makeup on. The lotion is very moisturizing without feeling greasy.
- Mario Badescu glycolic acid toner– This toner is great for using a couple times a week for a gentle chemical exfoliation of glycolic acid. It is really effective without being too harsh on my skin. I was getting lots of little bumps on my forehead from congested pores but it has vastly improved after using this for a few weeks. I also use the cleanser once a week as well as the collagen moisturizer and love them! I definitely want to try some of the sprays from this line as well!
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Tinted Eyebrow Gel– This stuff I use almost on a daily basis, just a few quick swipes and it quickly fills in my eyebrows so it’s super fast and easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the brush is pretty large so I often have to clean up the product that gets on my skin over or under my eyebrows.
